People have been saying that this was the best of the bunch, and I think they're right. I've seen references to some of the content in other comics, primarily folks talking about how good the Falcon's speech was, commenting on Tony Stark's breakdown, so I was looking forward to seeing how all this really played out.
First of all, the breakdown--far more low-key than I expected, given what I'd read elsewhere, which I was glad of. Tony is an emotional guy, but he has had years of experience suppressing inconvenient feelings, so what we see here--that he simply cannot speak--shows how deeply he has been affected by Steve's death without becoming overwrought. Also in this scene, the little exchange between Ben Grimm ("Y'think he's drunk?") and Johnny Storm ("Jeez. Hope not. Talk about bad form.") reflects the way that the hero community feels about Tony these days--not that Tony would be drunk, but that some of his colleagues would now be ready to assume the worst based on their feelings.
Then, Sam's speech. It really was very good. Not so much because of eloquence itself, although he's certainly not bad, but because he moves the focus to the people listening to him--including them as individuals (such as Rick Jones) or as groups (such as the WWII veterans in attendance). It was actually very affecting.
Oh, and I did not like the Jan and Hank moment, where Hank asks Jan whether she thinks Ms. Marvel and Iron Man are involved and she tells him to shut up. Yes, I know that Hank is now the jerk of the Marvel universe. (You know, just because you're not-so-nice in one respect doesn't mean that you have to have every single character flaw the writers can think of!) But he wouldn't have done that, not at Cap's funeral.
